Fondation Santé et Radiofréquences: UE – The SCENIHR publishes its opinion on the medical impact of the exposure to fields EM

 

European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) has updated its opinion on the health effects of EMF exposure.

The European expert group concludes that RF exposure is unlikely to lead to an increased cancer risk in humans. However, the experts add that further research is needed to clarify if long-term exposure to cell phones (well beyond 10 years) increases cancer risk and to evaluate the effects on children. The experts also find no overall evidence of effects on self-reported symptoms, the nervous system, development or reproduction.
